CDL Class A Yard Driver / Tolleson Terminal (AM)

Shift : The shift is 6am - 6pm is a rotational schedule of 4 days on and 4 days off.

Shift varies and will include weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Compensation : $24.00 / hour .

Overtime after 40 hours worked in a week

Job Summary :

Drivers will be expected to perform services which include, but are not limited to, operating a yard goat, connecting and disconnecting trailers on a continuous basis (moving trailers around the yard), operating various tractor-trailer combinations for extended periods of time and / or over long distances between company / customer facilities, terminals, yards, or work sites;

pick up, transport and deliver freight in a safe, timely, and efficient manner; drop, hook, spot, or otherwise interchange equipment for loading or unloading at various locations under varied conditions on a continuous basis.

Minimum Requirements :

• 18 months driving experience with a tractor / trailer
• Must be at least 23 years of age
• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years
• No more than 2 preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• No major convictions in the past 5 years (DUI, Reckless, Suspensions, etc.)
• Must be able to operate tractors with manual transmission
• Have a valid Class A Driver License
